Handmade noodles. Slow-built broth. A fusion of flavors you won't find anywhere else — from Tex-Mex guacamole to Korean kimchi, all in one bowl.
Our Story
A Family Fuse Box of Flavor
The Brutumus Fuse Box is a veteran-owned kitchen tucked into the Texas Hill Country, run by a father and son who wanted to build something that didn't fit into one category. So they didn't. Every bowl starts with handmade noodles and a broth that simmers low and slow until it's rich enough to stand on its own — then it gets dressed up with whatever the two of them are excited about that week, whether that's crispy tonkatsu, a Korean-style kimchi bowl, or a Tex-Mex fusion bowl loaded with guacamole and tortilla chips.
Guests keep telling us the same thing: they've never had anything quite like it. One traveler from a big city said we "set a high standard for high quality entrees," praising the handmade noodles and perfectly seasoned meat. A regular said you can taste "the amount of care that went into the broth" from the first sip. And when a guest's wife — born and raised in Korea — tells us our kimchi is better than what she grew up with, that's the whole mission working.
Whether you're passing through Canyon Lake or you've lived on FM2673 your whole life, pull up a seat, order a bowl, and let us short-circuit your idea of what ramen can be.
